Guru Rinpoche, The Great Medicine Healing Manifestation - Orgyen Menla

Words of wisdom by Guru Rinpoche, Padmasambhava

Guru Rinpoche emanates as Orgyen Menla , who appears as a Medicine Buddha. Medicine Buddha ,  especially vowed to eliminate pain and sufferings and diseases from the minds, bodies of all living beings, so He is reserved as the Buddha of Medicine or called the Master of Healing.

Medicine Buddha made twelve vows, that after He achieved Buddha hood, the prayer of all sentient beings would be answered and those who called on Him would be of perfect health and be able to free from diseases, overcome obstacles and to achieve the ultimate goals and inner happiness.

Orgyen Menla is  the Healing master is Guru Padmasambhava appearing in the aspect of Bhaishajyaguru (Medicine Buddha).Therefore, the practice of Orgyen Menla combines the blessings of Guru Rinpoche and Medicine Buddha to accomplish the healing of body, mind and emotions. 

As Guru Rinpoche has prophesied that in the dark age of degeneration, 3/4 of the world will be emptied by black epidemics. In the 7th century, Guru Rinpoche prophesied that many epidemics like the SARS and bird flu, etc. will occur and right now we are affected by diseases such as; the Nipah virus, H1N1 , Ebola or more deadly and mysterious diseases and or undiscovered infections. 

We never know what kind of new diseases will come next. Hence, to save from all these kind of diseases that will come next and to save from all these kind of disease and misery we should have devoted to Guru Rinpoche Padmasambhava or his great manifestation of Orgyen Menla   (Guru Rinpoche Medicine Buddha) with confidence that can help and save us as Guru Rinpoche who is the protector to the helpless beings

The practice of Orgyen Menla is particularly effective for pacifying epidemics, other sicknesses, suffering and negative influences. It is also beneficial for longevity and wisdom. The destructive forces of the imbalance of the four elements are overcome by accomplishing Ogyen Menla. This is possible because the Medicine Buddha (Healing Buddha) is no different from the Guru, and Guru is no different from the primordial purity and perfection of one's own awareness. 

All internal, external and secret obstacles and diseases are the results of one's own confused state of existence. Praying, meditating and reciting the mantra of Orgyen Menla not only cure diseases and suffering on a relative level, but also lead to the realization of ultimate wisdom. Thus we can completely go beyond suffering.

Orgyen Menla as a meditation-deity is revealed only in the later termas (later revelations) and this makes it all the more effective and powerful in practice.

Having defeated the enemies wrong-doings.

May we liberate migrators from the ocean of existence.

With its stormy waves of birth, old age, sickness and death.
