What Would You Do If You Are A Buddhist?

Many readers and friends actually asked me why? This is a religion related blog and why spent time on sharing some health and related articles here? Some even had suggested, if I were you, I would rather writing or doing more research on Buddhism.

First and foremost, Buddhism is not only limited to itself on rituals, prayers, chanting alone to attain inner peace and wisdom. Dharma doesn't mean or confined itself to specific areas, Dharma itself can be so varieties and develops into different aspects of our life.

Interestingly, there are many Buddhist's centers in today's world are mainly focusing on humanitarian works only, their aims are to help other sentient beings who are desperately in needs of support and love and care, regardless of their ethnicity, faiths, lifestyle, professions, status and etc.

With a different mission and philosophy, but ultimately the same common goals or achievements in principals will be reunited with the supreme Buddha's teachings and what Bodhisattva's vows on unconditional love, compassion, Buddhichitta and to save sentient beings.

A Very Blessed And Fortunate Nation- New York America (Part 3)

When the iron bird flies.

And horses run on wheels.

The Tibetan people will be scattered like ants across the world.

And the Dharma will come to the land of the Red Man

Prophesied by Padmasambhava, Guru Rinpoche.

On March 17, His Holiness the 17th Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorje, will begin a limited US tour that will see him visiting at six universities: Stanford, University of Redlands, Harvard, Princeton, Yale, and University of Wisconsin-Madison. He will also visit Mount Laurel, New Jersey; New York City; Kingston, New York; and Seattle, Washington. This will be His Holiness’s third visit to the States.

A press released from the Karmapa stated that he will receive a Chubb Fellowship—one of Yale’s highest honors for visiting lecturers, previously held by Aung San Suu Kyi, Morgan Freeman, and George H. W. Bush. The Karmapa will also receive an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from University of Redlands

Wat Phra Singh is a Buddhist temple in Chiang Mai, Northern it the status of Royal temple of the first grade in 1935.

The temple houses an important Buddha statue the Phra Buddha Sihing, gives the temple its name. Every year, during the Songkran festival, the statue is carried through the streets of Chiang Mai in a religious procession during which the spectators honor the statue by sprinkling water over it.

Wat Prasat is an ancient historic temple with great architectural value. It is one of the ancient temples in Chiang Mai. The white Buddha statue is facing out in the main shrine of the temple of Wat Prasat temple.

Wat Chedi Luang Varavihara, is the old Royal temple and in the main shrine of the temple is the Phra Attharot Buddha statue in the posture of forgiveness. The statue is built in front of the temple door.

Wat Phra That Doi Suthep is the temple to house and keeping the holy Buddha's sacred relics. The holy Buddha's sacred relics which the King had brought from Si Satchanalai.
Wat Phra That Doi Suthep temple is regonizedd by the Thai people as one of the highly holy and sacred temple. One resons is the Buddha's sacred holy relics and and also has a significant position either is term of history or as a one of the most important temple for tourist attraction.

Huai Nam Dang National Park is a national park in Thailand Chiang Mai. This mountainous park features scenic mountain viewpoints, waterfalls, and hot springs. Flight MH370 departs from Kuala Lumpur

March 8, 2014.

Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 departs from Kuala Lumpur International Airport and is due to land in Beijing at 6:30am later that day. On board the plane are 227 passengers and 12 crew.

"Good night," to Malaysian air traffic control (ATC). These are the last words heard from Flight MH370.
