The Living Journal - Clash of Egos

Being egoist nowadays is considered something bad by the majority of people, but egoism doesn’t mean you can't be good with others. It means you do good to others because you really want to. Many of us forgot how to be egoists and thus are living unhappy lives, or are not very popular among others and so on.

Being egoist means you put yourself and your needs before all others. It means that others are no longer the driving power of your progress but yourself and your needs.  You might think it’s unfair but after all the one to blame is you, for following other's ideas blindly.

You needs to realise that nobody but you knows what's good for you and what's going to make you happy. Only you may walk your path of life and nobody else. There are too many people spend money they earned to buy the things they don't want and also to  impress people that they don't like.

A proud man is always looking down on things and people; and, of course, as long as you are looking down, you cannot see something that is above you. So never let your pride or ego stop you from reaching out to someone you truly care for, but being too egoistic will bring you to nowhere but destruction.

Remember the Lord Buddha taught us  :- The middle paths.

Every time your head touches the ground in prayer, remember it is to teach you to put down your ego.

Thank you for reading and may you find peace and joyfulness within yourself while you are reading this blog.

The Living Journal - Timeless Treasures

Thank goodness is Friday, let have some light and easy moments of thoughts in Buddhism. The Living Journal-Growing old is our timeless treasures. In Buddhism, we talk to many different aspects of life, be it a ritual, Dharma, social networking for the poor, against animals cruelty and humanitarian works etc.

I haven't met anyone yet, who is not familiar with ‘good advice;' we have all been a recipient of it some time or another during the course of our lives. Unfortunately, we are not always receptive to the one giving us this treasure and sometimes fail to heed the counsel in the words that are given.
Unlike other treasures we already have in our possession, if we are not careful with the way we handle advice; we can cause injury to ourselves or loved ones. On the other hand, if we receive and heed sound advice, it can result in great blessings for us, our loved ones and even save a life.
While you can, be sure to also hold on to the timeless treasure of good advice and if you handle it with care, you can feel good about sharing it with others and anticipate good results.
I love this journal particularly it involved with our timeless treasures, it tell us our youthfulness can be so fragile, but then again,  there are many people are paying lot attention, and trying too hard or trying so much to go against the law of nature. Many, including me may find insecurity of reaching certain aged, but then again , if there is someone out there you could count on , but what about those who simply don't have any anyone to count on ? Sounded like a tragedy, but living in this samsara world means how uncertain and can be challenging in many way depending how we treasure it.

Thank you for reading and with your continuing support to read my blog, it helps to spread the Dharma knowledge and as well turning the Dharma wheel to the world.

The Living Journal - The Four Letter Words.

The living journal is kicking start with the four letter word that matter most.

What's is the four interesting four letter words ???? Take a look at the following four letter words now and perhaps it may look like what we always associated with.

The four letter words D.P.M.S

D - Dreams that we pursuing
All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them. Famously quoted by Walt Disney.
We are all beaten over the head that we should always pursue our dreams, always follow our passions, always turn reality into what we believe will make us happy. We only live once, so why not live to the fullness and chase your dreams and let the spirit and your visions to live on.

P - Physically
It's your own life and you need to take care on your own instead of depending on others. In today's rat race, it is impossible avoid not to have stress. Your body is hard-wired to react to stress in ways meant to protect you against threats from predators and aggressors. Once a perceived threat has passed, our hormone levels return to normal. You must watch out as you are responsible of your own risk and if you are physically not taking care of.

M - Mentally
You need to be strong. Every time you fall, take it in a positive way. Manage your stress and pressure well. Prioritise what you need to do. In many ways, our mental health is more important than our physical health. If you are mentally weak, that will pull you down.

S - Spiritually
Is up to each individual and his or her own faith. It's what you believe in from a young age, your parents' influence and also what you have encountered in your life. For me, I believe in the harmony of one's body , soul, and mind.  Invest in your soul, for example through meditation. As I am a Buddhist, I go to the monastery, listen the Dharma, talk to the holy monks and follow the Buddha teachings. The Buddha give me wisdom and direction in life. Religion brings us calmness an peace of mind. At times physical strength is not enough, you need some power in your spiritual life. I want to be a better person and faith help me direct me down this path.

To find a balance of our life, choose your job wisely and confidently that can bring you a stable income for your kids and love ones for a better tomorrow DPMS here.

Thank you for reading.

Who Can Get Paid for their Opinion?

Anyone who spends any amount of time on the internet sees all kinds of ads about paid surveys that want to know if you want to get paid for your opinion. I bet you have ignored most of them because you think they are total bull and probably some scam to rip off your identity or gain access to your financial records. You would be right about some of those companies. However, there are also a lot of legitimate companies that offer to let you get paid for your opinions.

Get started with Paid-Survey-at-Home

Almost all companies that make and sell consumer products hire marketing research firms to create and conduct consumer surveys so they can find out what people want to buy. They also want to know what features in their product are important to their customers.

A good example of why companies conduct market research is the current AT&T and Verizon cell phone advertising war. Verizon extols the fact that they have the largest network with near universal coverage (important if you live in a very rural area) and AT&T is pushing the fact that you can talk on the phone and surf the internet at the same time (something most people would like to be able to do).
AT&T most likely learned that people wanted to talk and surf at the same time from one of the market research surveys it routinely conducts to find out what consumers want.

How can you get paid for your opinions?
Join a paid survey website like us here at
Paid-Survey-at-Home and follow the instructions. Most will have you fill out a detailed member profile that will be used to see if you qualify for a survey. After all, you wouldn’t pay someone who doesn’t own a cell phone to take a survey about how people use their cell phones, would you?.

How do you get paid?
You will be paid either by a mailed paper check or the funds will be deposited directly into your PayPal account.

Thank you for making Paid-Survey-at-Home the trusted connection between people and research.

NO RISK INVOLVED

I really want you to be confident and comfortable when you sign up with "Paid Surveys at Home." So immediately after you sign up, I'd like you to test it out. This is the important part...
Your membership isn't final until you're satisfied. You can take up to 8 weeks to decide.
However, I just know after you've completed your first survey, you'll be convinced. Your friends are going to want to know how you did it. That's when you tell them about Paid Surveys at Home.
To Your Success,
Patricia Johnson

The Living Journal - Refresh And Renew of Suffering.

I believe that the people we mix with are important, so we should create a positive ground.  For example, do your friends motivate and inspire you? Are you negative about life?

^_^ In fact, Yes I do sometimes! Being a Buddhist does not make you a better person, unless you have learned the Dharma and put it into actions, likewise it may seem like a sick person never take his or her medication after consultation with the doctors.
^_^ It is important to choose friends, when I share problems with friends, I am not looking for comfort, but an advice and solutions. Sometimes mix with people who you want to, but at the wrong time and the wrong crowd. With a YES attitude to life, nothing is impossible. Our mental strength is very powerful. With this assets, everything can be resolved, when you're mentally strong, nothing is a problem.
^_^ Life isn't just about work, money, marriage, and buying the things you want; life is about giving, and that is the true meaning of life. That is what enjoyment means in life. Things you share is more enjoyable than you are using it alone.
^_^ To me, the living Journal of living right is the most important thing in life. I always ask myself, how will people remember us ? For me, rather than buying a big house, big car,  I  have chosen a simple life, but with an affordable standard of living. Greediness when a greed is a bottomless pit which endless effort to satisfy the need without ever reaching satisfaction.

^_^ I am not saying that we shouldn't work hard for a comfortable life, a good marriage and raise a family, but knowing the danger of greed is extremely destructive, it destroys everything once we owned.

^_^ You may be a billionaire and owned 100 of Penthouses, but you can only live in ONE at a time.
^_^ When we die, Is there any difference between a rich and a poor ?
^_^ WHEN YOUR FINAL MOMENT HAS ARRIVED, DO YOU THINK YOU STILL OWN ALL THESE?

The Four Noble Truths is the Buddha's first sermon after his Enlightenment. The truths are :-
° The truth of suffering.
° The truth of the cause of suffering.
° The truth of the end of suffering.
° The truth of that free us from  suffering.
