Mahakala The Wrathful Dharma Protector(大黒天) Part 3

Six arms white Mahakala 

He is a Dharma protector which is associated with prosperity. He is surrounded by the flames of wisdom. He is standing on corpses, which is indicating the conquering the ignorance. 

He has six arms and holding objects to facilitates his enlightened activity, such as a Khatvanga and dharma drum. Six arms white Mahakala is the wrathful Dharma protector and he is a powerful deity of compassion known as Kuan Yin Bodhisattva  (in Chinese)  Chenrizig (in Tibetan) and Avalokistesvara (in Sanskrit).

In this manifestation form, the demonstrates the compassion activity of overcoming obstacles and attracting the positive influences. His body is white and he is depicting in standing position. He has asix arms, every arm is holding a different implement, and he has three eyes that signifies that he can see the passed, present and the coming future. 


He is adorned with jeweled ornaments and wearing a beautiful skirts made of many scarves with jewels hanging down on the skirt. His main right hand holds a wish-fulfilling jewel bowl a jewel-tipped handle in in front of his chest.



The practice of white Mahakala is done to bring wealth and good fortune in the areas of family, business, knowledge and spirituality. This practice removes obstacles to the flow of prosperity and invokes positive energies.
