Visiting Tibetan Monastery Scotland UK Part 3 ( Loch Ness monster river )

Samye Ling Monastery is a holy place that I am always called it a "little Tibetan Plateau of the west"  Since it is remotely located at the countryside and you must equip yourself with the GPS guide and perhaps invite some local friends to join with you, otherwise you will be ended up to no where but in the middle of the jungles or unknown countryside.
Sometime the GPS failed to pinpoint you to a correct location and what scary thing is, you will hardly see many vehicle along the countryside. We rent a  jeep wrangler and drove by my Scottish friends and somehow lost their way in the middle of the woods and it was totally quiet, sound so adventures, but with many laughter and indeed what a challenging journey to the west.
Most people will ask, why Scotland? what Scotland can offer you when you are there and what can you get most of it when visiting Scotland soil?
Loch Ness monster ! Rather a legendary of a Monster Loch Ness that properly has become the most well-known and famous icon of Scotland UK. I was fascinated too, but not my Scottish friends. Since we were on the way to the countryside of the Scotland and we will pass by the most notorious place call the Loch Ness monster river.
Loch Ness is a large, deep, freshwater loch in the Scottish Highlands extending for approximately 23 miles southwest of Inverness. Its surface is 52 ft above sea level. Loch Ness is the largest lake in Scotland by volume. The surrounding area is filled with historic attractions, natural wonders, cozy places to stay, and superb eateries. The Loch Ness Monster is just one of the many myths and legends to be discovered in this particularly beautiful part of Scotland.
Loch Ness is full of surprises! You can sit back and enjoy the landscape, explore the history of the area, visit the charming towns and villages like Fort Augustus, Foyers, Cannich, and Drumnadrochit, or just relax and enjoy the great outdoors. Take a leisurely walk along the shore or a bigger challenge.

Vitising Tibetan Monastery Scotland UK Part 1

Samye Ling Monastery  is the Karma Kagyu School located at Eskdalemuir near Langholm, Dumfries and Galloway Scotland UK Head Lama is Lama Yeshe Losal Rinpoche and he was restored for his demised Brother Akong Rinpoche, who was murdered in Chengdu China October 08, 2013.

Akong Tulku Rinpoche was a tulku in the Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism and He introduced Western people to Tibetan religion and culture in 1967 and was one of the founder of the Samye Ling Monastery in Scotland UK. On 8 October 2013, Akong Tulku Rinpoche had been killed in Chengdu China, along with two other monks, including Rinpoche's nephew, and his driver.
The police said that three Tibetan men had been arrested and admitted carrying out the killings. The Samye-Ling website subsequently said that the killers had intended to rob Akong Rinpoche of funds which were being distributed to various projects supported by the charity, Rokpa International, for which he was responsible.

It was also announced on 11 October 2013 that his body was being taken to the Tibetan Autonomous Region, to his monastery (Dolma Lhakang), for a ceremony . one of the suspected killers had been named by Chengdu police as Tu Dan Gu Sha, also known as Thubten Kunsai.

It was my 2nd visits Samye Ling Monastery and I had met the late Akong Rinpoche for the first time, but only spent a very brief moments with him. I still can remember the late Akong Rinpoche was a very friendly and he loved to smiles to people, but sadly it was my first and also the last time I met him, and I had introduced and met up with Lama Yeshe Rinpoche, His Ven. Lama Yeshe Rinpoche is a very friendly and compassionate monk , He gave me some advice how to dealing with obstacles in life the very first time I met him in the Scotland soil.
I had been introduced to the suspect Thubten Kunsai , a traditional Tibetan artist and he was building a new giant Tara statue project at the main entrance of the car parks of the Monastery. Why I still can remember the suspect  dated back to 2007? Because he was teasing me that we both were having the same first Tibetan name "Thubten"

Samye Ling Monastery is the Karma Kagyu School located remotely at Eskdalemuir near Langholm, Dumfries and Galloway Scotland UK. One of the best kept secrets in Scotland despite having been here for three times in 2006, 2008 and 2012. The Kagyu Samye Ling Monastery and Tibetan Center is well worth a visit ,and regardless of your religions or spiritual beliefs.

I will consider it is a pilgrimage. 700 years old relics preserved in Mahayana Buddhist temple in Bangkok

I was with some Buddhist friends at the Center plaza in Bangkok, we were approached by a tuk-tuk driver and drove us to a beautiful Buddha temple and charged us for 30/- Thai bath. When we arrived , we saw a traditional Mahayana Buddhist temple , but combination with the Taoism elements such as the flying dragons were crafted on top of the temple. At the main entrance, you will be greeted by the giant Laughing Buddha and a very compassionate 1000 hands and 1000 eyes Avalokestisvara Bodhisattva. In site the main shrine, you will see a very beautiful and holy Sakyamurni Buddha and Manjusri Bodhisattva and Samantabhadra Bodhisattva respectively. (unfortunately I had forgotten to take some pictures)

You may find countless of San Phra Phrom or Brahma Sahampati holy statue almost in every corner of Bangkok Thailand for worshipping for his blessing and blissful state. This is not exceptional with an amazing and beautiful San Phra Phrom or Brahma Sahampati shrine built in the temple and the holy statue is facing directly to the main entrance of the temple.
After I  had paid my respects to the Majestic San Phra Phrom or Brahma Sahampati holy shrine , and I took a picture of the passing clouds in the sky and it looks amazing, but some said it looks like some kinds of formation or appearance ? But I see nothing, but just a passing clouds.
This is a Chinese architecture of the Pagoda and it is distinctively designed with surrounded by the protecting flying Dragons. This is a Chinese philosophical system of harmonizing everyone with the surrounding environment and often spiritually significant structures with elements influenced.
This holy Buddhas statues are located on top of the Pagoda,  and with his tranquility and peaceful energies it will certainly will make you  so calming,  peace of minds and blissful state of minds.
According to the guard, this Pagoda only open with certain occasion or event. A very rare Buddha amulet or relics that has been unearthed and believed to be dated back to 700 years old and you can see the Buddha amulet had been crafted with precious gem stones.
